Day : 1   Arrive Delhi

Upon your arrival in Delhi, our tour operator will take you to the hotel you chose. You may just relax at the hotel in the evening hours of the day. Have the dinner and stay their overnight.

Day : 2   Delhi - Agra (4 Hrs Journey)

In the morning, you get to witness some of the best examples of Mughal architecture in Delhi by visiting places like Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid and Humayun’s Tomb. You first visit the intricate streets of Chandni Chowk to explore the local market and enjoy some mouth-watering street food. You then visit the Jama Masjid, which can accommodate more than 20,000 people to pray, during the festival of Eid. You then visit the Humayun’s Tomb, the resting place of the second Mughal Emperor Humayun. It is an incredible structure built during the good times of the Mughal rule under the reign of Akbar.

You then leave for Agra by road. Once in Agra, you get to witness the Agra Fort before sunset. You visit Agra Fort and take a look at the different structures, built over decades by different Mughal rulers. You can see the different courtyards, palaces, private mosques, gardens and the place where Aurangazeb kept his father Shah Jahan captive in his dying years. After the visit to the fort, you can indulge in some local shopping before checking in the hotel to have dinner.

Day : 3   Agra - Samode (5 Hrs Journey)

In the morning hours, you visit the Taj Mahal and witness the beautiful white structure during sunrise, making it one of the highlights of the tour. When you witness the mausoleum, you get to understand why it is often considered the most beautiful architectural marvel in the world. You then visit the building, which was the inspiration for Taj Mahal’s design at first, tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah. The tomb is often called Baby Taj for its similarity to the Taj Mahal but much smaller in size than the Taj itself.

After lunch, you leave for Samode, which is a 5 hours journey. Once you reach the town of Samode, you check in the hotel and rest during the night. You can check in the any of the luxury hotels run by the royal family as well, if you wish.

Day : 4   Samode - Jaipur (1 Hrs Journey)

At Samode, you get to visit the top places like Samode Palace, Samode Haveli and the SamodeBagh. All these complexes are now part of the heritage hotels run by the royal family itself. The structures have a unique mix of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture, making them stand out from the rest of the palaces or forts in Rajasthan. The Samode Bagh is a garden built in the Mughal style but has influences from local architecture and design and also the Victorian style.

Once you are done with exploring the royal palaces and gardens, you leave for Jaipur in the evening, which is just an hour away. Once you reach the city of Jaipur, you check in the hotel and then can indulge in some shopping in the nearby markets. Enjoy the dinner at the hotel and then spend the night at the hotel itself.

Day : 5   Day in Jaipur

This day is all about exploring the city of Jaipur by visiting all the major tourist attractions of the place. You first visit the Amer Fort, set on top of a hill. Here, you get to see some of the finest works of Rajput architecture and Indo-Saracenic architecture.

Post that you visit the City Palace of Jaipur, the best of all palaces in the city. It has some beautifully designed courtyards, durbar halls, royal suites and museums that shows the different artefacts, paintings, attires and weapons that the royals used. Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar are the other two places to visit on this day. Later on, you can enjoy the local street markets in the Pink City and buy some handicrafts or local jewellery. Enjoy the local dishes for the dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day : 6   Jaipur - Deogarh (5 Hrs Journey)

In the morning, you leave Jaipur to reach Deogarh after a 5-hour drive. Deogarh or the Devgarh is a top tourist destination for its luxurious resorts, Havelis and temples. You first visit the main Fort of the city and then visit the numerous temples of the city. Once you are done with the sightseeing for the day, you check in the hotel for dinner and the overnight stay.

Day : 7   Deogarh - Udaipur (3 Hrs Journey)

Kunjbihari Temple at the center of the town is a major attraction in Deogarh. Charbhuja Temple, sitting on top of a hill, is another tourist spot in the area, as it also has a clock tower in the complex. Anjaneshwar Mahadev Temple is popular for the Sivalingait has, formed with rainwater dissolving calcium in the rocks.

After lunch, you leave Deogarh to reach Udaipur by evening after a 3-hour drive. You check in the hotel and spend your evening indulging in some recreational activities in the hotel itself. Have the dinner at the hotel and stay their overnight.

Day : 8   Day in Udaipur

The first thing you visit in the morning is the City Palace of Udaipur, based on one side of the Lake Pichola. The palace built in 1553 has a ton of antiques and valuables to help us understand how the royals lived in the city of lakes. The beautiful palace has seen multiple renovation drives by different rulers of the city. Therefore, you can observe a change in the style of architecture used in the different parts of the palace. You then enjoy a beautiful boat ride in the Lake before visiting the Jag Mandir Island to visit the palace, located on an island. The Jain Temple is another top tourist attraction in the city.

If time permits, you get to visit Fateh Sagar Lake and Badore ki Haveli. You then go back to the hotel to have dinner and stay there overnight.

Day : 9   Udaipur - Jodhpur (6 Hrs Journey)

In the morning itself, you will leave for Jodhpur, as it is a long ride of 6 hours.

Once you reach the city, you first visit the Mehrangarh Fort, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the biggest forts in the state. The museum here gives you an idea about how the royals used to live here hundreds of years ago. It displays the armoury used, attires worn by the royals, palanquins, paintings, currencies and much more, making it one of the best well-preserved museums in Rajasthan.

You check in your hotel and spend the night there itself after having your dinner.

Day : 10   Jodhpur - Jaisalmer (5 Hrs Journey)

In the morning, you get to visit places like Jaswant Thada, royal cenotaphs and Sardar market. Jaswant Thada, a mausoleum, is one of the few buildings in the state that used white colour for its façade. Sardar market is a local market that houses hundreds of tiny shops, giving you some great choices for shopping. Here, you also get to witness the Clock Tower.

Once you are done with the sightseeing in Jodhpur, you have the lunch and then leave for Jaisalmer. It will take you 5 hours to reach the city closest to the border of the country on this side. Once you reach Jaisalmer, you check in the hotel and rest there for the night.

Day : 11   Day in Jaisalmer

You spend a whole day in the desert city of Jaisalmer, starting with a visit to the Sonar Fort or the Jaisalmer Fort, as generally called. The fact that people still reside in the complex of the fort city, makes it one of the very few such forts in the world. The Raj Mahal Palace, the various Jain temples and different gates are the highlights of the fort. From here, you next visit the string of havelis that displays the rich influence of Rajasthani architecture through them. Gadisar Lake is another tourist attraction of the city and is the main source of water for the people as well. In the evening, you get to enjoy a camel ride through the Thar Desert and then camp under the night sky.

Day : 12   Jaisalmer - Bikaner (5 Hrs Journey)

The day starts with a five-hour drive that takes you to the city of Bikaner.

Upon arrival, you visit the Junagarh Fort, one of the few forts in Rajasthan that is not built on a hill. The façade at the eastern entrance is enough to marvel you and the interiors of the fort has much more to offer in the shape of different palaces, like Anup Mahal, Phool Mahal and Chandra Mahal among many others. In the evening, you go to the Lalgarh Palace Museum to witness some of the best-preserved mural paintings, artefacts, armoury and other such possessions of the royals from yesteryear. You then leave for the hotel to have the dinner and rest.

Day : 13   Bikaner - Alsisar (4 Hrs Journey)

You leave for the last destination of this long tour, Alsisar, in the morning hours of the day.

You reach the town of Alsisar in 3 hours from Bikaner and then check in the hotel. You then leave for some local sightseeing that includes Alsisar Mahal, the major palace of the city and other major Havelis of the yesteryear. The hot desert surrounds the city on all sides, making it one of the few towns built this way in Rajasthan. In the evening, you go back to the hotel to have the dinner.

Day : 14   Alsisar - Delhi Airport
