Yamunotri: one of the four pilgrim of Char Dham which is visit by Hindus throughout the year dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna, it is believed that she is one of the avatars of Goddess Durga. It is situated at the height of approx. 10,804 feet. Pilgrims pull off their clothes, jump in the water and persuaded bathe the soul. The Yamunotri is a beautiful & spiritual trek which is lapped by Himalayas that makes you touch the doorsteps of GODDESS YAMUNA!
Gangotri: This Dham is situated at the height of around 10,200 feet. The legend saying behind this Dham is that, once a king known as Bhagirath performed reparation to bring Goddess Ganga down for cleaning his ancestor's souls on the earth.
Kedarnath: This place is a part of Kedarnath Shrine and is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva was built by Pandavas & was later revived by Adi Shankaracharya. This place is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is at an altitude of 11,755 feet and also known as Kedarnath range. This is like 16kms from Gauri Kund and this journey itself is a prayer and when you reach here and stand right in front of Kedarnath temple surrounded by Himalayas believe it can’t be expressed that feeling.
Badrinath: It is one of the four major pilgrimage sites in India and at an altitude of 10,170 feet on the Alaknanda river and the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Legends say that Lord Vishnu meditated here for several thousand years and goddess Lakshmi disembodied herself as the Badri tree to shield him from an extreme climate therefore this town has such got the name “Badrinath”.
