Tour Itinerary

Day : 1   Arrive Delhi

As you land on your dream land India, transfer to your chosen hotel for a night stay in Delhi

Day : 2   Day in Delhi

Morning, get ready after breakfast and explore Delhi's multiple monuments and markets from different eras. You first visit the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk on a rickshaw to discover the bustling markets with thousands of tiny shops in it, selling almost anything you can imagine. You can see shops that sell electronic items, spices, street food, clothes, jewellery and much more. Here, you also get to visit the Jama Masjid. From top of the one of the minarets of the mosque, you get to view the whole city lying in front of you.

You then visit the central Delhi area to witness the India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament, all built in the early 20th century. You then visit Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, the most popular Sikh Temple in the city, and have lunch at the community hall. You then visit the Humayun’s Tomb, built back in the 16th century. The structure follows the usual charbagh architecture for the design of the complex with symmetrical gardens all around the mausoleum. The last monument you visit is the 12th century Qutub Minar, a 73m brick minaret. You then leave for some shopping in the evening at Connaught Place. You can have your dinner there in a café or restaurant or move back to the hotel to have your meal.

Day : 3   Delhi - Mandawa (285 Kms / 6 Hrs Journey)

You leave Delhi in the morning to reach Mandawa after a 6-hours journey. Mandawa is a historical city in the Jhunjunu district of Rajasthan, filled with Havelis and castles. The Fort of Mandawa is the major attraction in the city with fresco paintings of Lord Krishna adoring the walls of the fort. Sewaram Saraf Haveli, Ram Pratap Neman Haveli and Goenka double Haveli are some of the Havelis in the town. After the sightseeing, you stay at a hotel overnight.

Day : 4   Mandawa - Bikaner (190 Kms / 4 Hrs Journey)

You visit the other havelis in the morning with our tour guide helping you understand the architecture and story behind the construction of each Haveli.

You then leave for a 4-hour journey to reach the city of Bikaner by evening, you would not get much time to visit any places in the evening and hence it is better just to relax at the hotel at night.

Day : 5   Bikaner - Jaisalmer (333 Kms / 6 Hrs Journey)

In the city of Bikaner, you first visit the Junagarh Fort, the biggest attraction in the city. The whole city was built around the fort over the years. The fort now is just a tourist attraction, as the royal family moved their base from this fort to the Lalgarh Palace in the early 20th century. The museum at Lalgarh Palace is also on the list of places that you visit in Bikaner. The other places you get to visit are the royal cenotaphs and Jain Temple.

After having the lunch, you leave for Jaisalmer. Since you will reach Jaisalmer only after sunset, you may just rest at the hotel and spend the night there.

Day : 6   Day in Jaisalmer

The day at Jaisalmer starts with a visit to one of the most popular forts in Rajasthan, the Sonar Fort or the Jaisalmer Fort. It is unique for being one of the very few forts in the world that still houses people in its complex. Furthermore, it is also one of the oldest forts in Rajasthan still standing tall. You then visit a series of Havelis, like Patwonki Haveli, Salim Singh ki Haveli and a few others more. You then visit the Gadisar Lake, the major source of water in the city for hundreds of years.

In the evening, you are in for a treat, as you enjoy a camel ride along India's Thar Desert. You can also enjoy other activities like Sand Bashing, sand surfing and camping at night. Enjoy your dinner at the campsite or go back to the hotel to spend the night.

Day : 7   Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (330 Kms / 5 Hrs Journey)

Morning leave by road for the second largest city Jodhpur and enjoy a warm welcome upon arrival with a welcome drink in Jodhpur hotel and do the checking in formalities for 01 night stay

Afternoon visit the visit the massive famous fort of Mehrangarh along with Jawant Thada, Clock Tower, Museum of Umaid Bhawan Palace and the beautiful Mandaore Garden etc.

Day : 8   Jodhpur - Udaipur (285 Kms / 6 Hrs Journey, via Ranakpur)

In the morning, you leave the hotel for some more sightseeing in Jodhpur. You first visit Jaswant Thada, a mausoleum built by Maharaja Sardar Singh for his father. Mandore Gardens is a great place to visit, as it is one of the oldest gardens in Rajasthan, close to 1400 years old. It has several structures in it where the royals used to sit and enjoy their evenings. You then visit the Sardar market to explore the hundreds of tiny shops present there.

After noon, you leave Jodhpur to reach Udaipur after a 6 hour journey. You also get to visit some of the Jain temples on the way to the city of Lakes. Once you reach Udaipur, you check in your hotel, have the dinner and spend the night there.

Day : 9   Day in Udaipur

The morning starts with a visit to the City Palace of Udaipur, a great example of palaces built slowly over generations of rulers. The palace built over a period of 400 years has several royal suites and palaces in the complex. Amar Vilas, Badi Mahal, Dilkhusha Mahal and Bhim Vilas are some of the major buildings in the palace. You then take a boat ride in the Lake Pichola to reach the island of Jag Mandir to visit the Jag Mandir palace. The other places to visit in Udaipur are Sahelio ki Bari and Jagdish Mandir.

Later in the evening, if time permits, you get to visit the Fateh Sagar Lake and Bagore ki Haveli, a bungalow built by one of the major members of the ministry of the Mewar Empire. You then move back to your hotel where you enjoy your dinner and spend the night there.

Day : 10   Udaipur - Jaipur (390 Kms / 8 Hrs Journey)

This day is the longest of the days when it comes to travelling by road. You leave Udaipur to reach Jaipur. During the 8-hour ride, you may love to visit Chittorgarh Fort, the biggest fort in the state. The visit to the fort is worth the long drive. The fort lies close to 600ft above the ground and has the complex area close to 700 acres in total. The massive area is laced with numerous palaces, temples, courtyards and cenotaphs and many more structures. 

Once you reach the city of Jaipur, you can rest at the hotel and enjoy a spa session if you would like.

However, if you do not want to take the long drive, you may opt for a flight from Udaipur to Jaipur.

Day : 11   Day in Jaipur

This day is set for visits to all the top tourist attractions in the city of Jaipur, like the City Palace of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Amer Fort. You get to witness some of the finest examples of Indo-Saracenic and Rajput architecture through all these structures. Jantar Mantar is a complex built by Maharaja Jai Singh II, who had immense interest in astronomy. The complex houses 19 different architectural astronomy instruments to detect the movement of celestial bodies and help give the necessary information about time, climate, and other such scientific observations.

Next to Jantar Mantar is the City palace of Jaipur, which has some of the best architecture in the whole city. Hawa Mahal is another palace in the vicinity that is another top tourist attraction for its use of innumerable windows in the building. It has 953 windows in total, allowing the royal women to look at what happens in the outside world. Enjoy the local markets in the evening after you are done with the sightseeing. You then visit the Amer Fort, lying on the outskirts of the city on top of a hill. Here, you can witness some mural paintings, incredible design work in the courtyards, high fortifications and many more features that makes it an ideal way to end the day. Enjoy a Rajasthani Thali, the speciality of the local cuisine, for your dinner before going back to the hotel.

Day : 12   Jaipur - Delhi Airport

On the last day your Tours to Rajasthan finiesh and you leave Jaipur to reach the Delhi airport, from where you can board your flight back to your home country.
