Tour Itinerary

Day : 1   Delhi - Agra (3 ½ Hrs Journey)

Your flight touches down at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, and our tour administrator meets you at visitor’s lounge. You will receive warm greetings and welcome with garland.

You are equipped to go on a road trip traversing Taj Express Freeway to reach Agra. After reaching Agra, you head for the hotel and unwind from journey, before beginning next lap. You are driven to Agra Fort, a semi-circular structure, running parallel to the holy river Yamuna.  The fort has four gates - The Lahore Gate (later the name was changed to Amar Singh Gate by Shah Jahan), The Delhi Gate, The Khizri Gate and The Ghazni Gate, where lies the tomb of Mahmud Ghaznavi. Khizri Gate leads to the brook Yamuna.  Delhi Gate is the biggest of all gates, and exemplifies Akbar’s knowledge on architectural designs. Next halt is at Itmad-ud-daulah. Often referred to as “Jewel Box” tomb is a resting place of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of Noor Jahan. The construction of Mirza Ghiyas Beg’s tomb, acknowledged the title of I'timad-ud-Daulah (or the Pedestal of the State) was started by Noor Jahan herself.  The tomb was created from red sandstone with delicate use of Pietra Dura floral designs, carved out from rare gem stones.  The tomb is also referred to as “Bacha Taj” as it represents the miniature of Taj Mahal. Evening is the time to stop see the charming sight and perceive the grandeur of Taj Mahal. The mausoleum of love, and devotion embraced in never ending love, Taj Mahal had always been more than just any regular Mughal burial place for visitors. It is constructed from very fine ivory white marble. Taj Mahal exemplifies eternal love of Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved and the most beautiful wife Begum Mumtaz Mahal.  

Day : 2   Agra - Jaipur (5 Hrs Journey)

After a repartee and enjoying the delight on the breakfast table, you are driven to the pink city of Rajasthan – Jaipur. On arriving in Jaipur, a check in is registered in your name at the hotel.

You relax for few moments, and then spruce up for trip to City Palace. Constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, City Palace was a popular palace for carrying out ceremonial and administrative functions of Rajputana. It is a symbolism of royalty, cultural richness, governmental functions, besides the place for holding various cultural and religious events. Lying in the vicinity of the palace is Jantar Mantar Observatory, where you will be heading, after your exitance from City Palace. Given the status of world heritage site by UNESCO, it has 19 astronomical instruments, which also includes biggest stone dial in the world.  These instruments are operational on ancient coordinate systems.   Finally, you touch the Hawa Mahal. The structure is erected from pink and red colored sandstone under the supervision of Sawai Pratap Singh. The palace was premeditated by Lal Chand.  Hawa Mahal has five floors, and 953 Jharokas embellished with sophisticated lattice moldings.

Day : 3   Jaipur - Delhi (5 Hrs Journey)

After a treat of rich breakfast, you set your feet for Amber Fort. Elephant rides are available from the foothill, and it’s a great pleasure to unravel. Amber Fort stands high on the Aravalli Mountain range at point what is popularly known as “Hill of Eagles.” The fort oversees Maota Lake, the principal source of water. The fort is famous for its ornate carvings, nixed use of sandstone and marble and wealthy palace.

Return to your hotel, and in the evening, pack your bags and register a check out from the hotel. You are transferred to airport to catch your onward flight to Delhi.
