On contacting Prakash from Select India, we were told about numerous travel plans. This travel company offers different types of packages that take you all over India. So, no matter what you may have in mind regarding the types of places you want to visit and the sights that you want to see.

He told us about the Golden Triangle Tour and we appreciated his advice for 3 Days Trip. He helped us select the right hotels and flights to facilitate our trip and we must say that is advice was invaluable for us while planning our holiday! We are very happy with the service and will certainly use this company again when we plan a trip to India next. We recommend this service to other people too!

My wife had always wanted to visit India so this year, on our 25th anniversary, I surprised her with a trip to India and we took the Golden Triangle package with Kerala as everyone told us that we cannot miss going to that lovely state. They were right! Apart from enjoying all the sights that Delhi, Jaipur and Agra had to offer, we enjoyed Ayurvedic massages in Kerala and had a lovely trip. We also enjoyed different types of Indian cuisine that is present at all these different cities.

India has so much to offer that we don’t think that we did it justice with just one holiday. This is definitely a holiday that we will repeat in the future! And when we do, we will get in touch with Select India Holidays so that they can organize a marvelous holiday for us yet again!

We had a fantastic time during our golden triangle trip in India and were blown away by the beauty of the Taj Mahal. Select India’s packages were very well planned and their team offered us 24x7 support whenever we needed them for any help or query.

They also offered a wide range of different packages for us to choose from and we picked the Golden Triangle Tour with Kashmir as we’ve heard so much about the beautiful state. Needless to say, we were not disappointed at all! From the hotels they suggested to the well-informed guides who work with them, these people really know how to give you a great holiday! If you are planning to go on a holiday in India, then do contact these people as they are well aware of all the great things you can do to make this holiday amazing.

Thank god we chosen Select India among several online tour companies we received quote from for our 5 Days Delhi Agra and Jaipur Tour Package, While Google we sent our trip request to several company and Om from Select India Holidays quickly contacted us with few suggestions in hotels 5 Star, 4 Star and 3 Star Hotels which were all nice when we checked online specially on Trip advisor all the hotels were highly ranked on Trip Advisor. We were a bit confused on 4 Star and 3 Star Hotels and finally we decided to go ahead with 3 Star Hotels as we were traveling to several other countries as well to save some money.

We arrived Delhi airport and met with Mr. Om, which I not even expecting that he will be coming to meet us, lucky to see him finally after a long discussion on Email’s, WhatsApp messages and calls. He took us to our first hotel in Delhi (South Gate) in Green Park Area which is nice as I asked Om that I want to be available very close to Saronjini Market which was just 10 minutes walking away from our hotel South Gate. Next we met with our guide waiting from us when we go down from our room and enjoyed our Delhi Tour Specially the Akshardham, Lotus Temple, Qatab Minar and the President House. The guide took us to a nice restaurant (Pindi) in Delhi where we asked for Butter Chicken I still have its taste it was delicious a special thanks to our Guide (Mr. Sanjeev) a nice guy who know’s everything our India, as we had so many questions for him and he replied all the questions we had.

On the following day we had to drive for Agra with our driver Mr. Manoj Only, he is a nice person and lucky to have is company. He was very young, always in time along with smiling face and neat and clean Car. When we arrive Agra we met Mr. Manoj our Guide what a coincident we were traveling with Manoj Driver and our Guide too, both Manoj hahaha. Mr. Manoj our guide a nice person took us to the Taj Mahal helped us in getting our tickets to Enter we just paid for the tickets. We spent almost 2 hours within the Taj and clicked some of the nice Pictures including a special one on the Table which is known as Princess Diana Table the photographers says. Then after we visited the Agra Fort which was amazing in size, beauty, history and much more the guide told us.

Next day we again along with our Driver Mr. Manoj Only for a long drive from Agra to Jaipur, took 5 ½ hrs to reach including a stop and wanted to relax on our hotel [Traditional H Haveli] which is very nice and comfortable more than our expectations. We wanted to relax as we were tired too, asked our driver Manoj to be free till next day morning. Next Day after breakfast we went our with our driver for Hawa Mahal where our guide meet us took some nice pictures along the Palace of Winds and took us for Amber fort where we had a lovely Elephant ride until the entrance gate of Amber fort and gone through its several attractions and also visited other attractions of Jaipur city including City Palace, Jantar Manar and went for a lovely Darshan at birla Mandir

Next day we took our flight to Dubai from Jaipur, we stayed in the following hotels during our 5 Days Delhi Agra and Jaipur Tour

Prior to the trip, the communications with Om, the Company Director, were excellent and we received all the information we needed. He was able to answer all our questions and we spoke to him several times on Whats App voice calls to confirm arrangements (free). We paid 50% of the holiday in advance to secure our booking and settled the outstanding just 4 days prior to our holiday - this was most helpful.

We were greeted by a lovely gentleman named 'Rana' at Delhi International Airport and he immediately made us feel welcome and gave us a garland to wear as we boarded the spacious, air-conditioned SUV which was to be our mode of transport for our holiday.

We were tired from a long flight, but Rana put us at ease and was a very skilful and attentive driver. His English was good and he was able to advise us comprehensively on the Indian way of life and culture throughout our holiday - he was excellent. He was punctual and collected us from our respective hotels each morning with aplomb and courtesy. He was patient and accommodating and treated us as though we were his family. The hotels were all excellent and Select India Holidays made a few adjustments to our itinerary on our behalf, which was very much appreciated.

The entire trip was wonderful. We saw tigers in Ranthambore National Park, rug making in Jaipur, marble art in Agra, the wonderful Taj Mahal and some amazing buildings and national monuments. The guides we had were knowledgeable and spoke with authority on the various sites we visited.

India is a wonderful country and we were thoroughly smitten with the people and the culture. We loved it. Tipping is quite common and expected (British Victorian legacy), but it is not much and the following is a guide: 100 Rupees (£1) for hotel porters, a little more for meals 200-300 Rupees and 500-1000 for your guide and 1000+ for your driver per day.

Make sure you apply for your e-Visa in plenty of time and check that you have had the appropriate vaccinations, at least one month prior to travelling (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Hepatitis A are the usual requirements). Select India Holidays can advise you on any additional medication you may need such as anti-malarial (not needed for the Golden Triangle area).

From the START to FINISH of our holiday to India, excellent service was received overall from the staff at Select India Holidays and their respective drivers, city guides etc. We would therefore firstly like to thank Select India Holidays and its staff, especially Om Prakash Verma, for planning our Agra Jaipur and  Varanasi tour and implementing such an amazing holiday that we truly will never forget.

To begin with we were pleasantly surprised at the prompt response received once our enquiry was submitted online and the excellent proposal presented. The perfectly planned itinerary and over all price of the package won us over “hand down” first time around, compared to the itinerary and pricing of package received from the other travel agents in India.

After 5 months passed by and staying in contact with the company representative, Om Prakash Verma, we arrived in Delhi after a bit of delay (due to the winter fog) to a nice traditional Indian welcome. It was very nice introduction ti India and very awesome way to start off our journey around the “Golden Triangle”. Over the next couple of days we turned and travelled around the area known as the “Golden Triangle” and was looked after (on the long road journey) by a very courteous and professional driver ( Mr. DK ), who was very accommodating (which made the road journey very pleasant). The guides in each of the cities visited were also very well presented and very knowledgeable on the history of city and the various monuments and historical sites visited. A special mention must however be made of the Jaipur tour guide, Mr. Vipin Vaheti, who was the best tour guide on the tour overall. His excellent people skills and patience as well as his vast knowledge on Jaipur and Indian history in general was INCREDIBLE. After touring the “golden Triangle” we jetted off to Varanasi with Indigo Airlines (excellent service received on both legs of the journey). On landing in Varanasi, we were looked after by Azit (local company representative) for the duration of our stay in the city. He made the stay in city a pleasant one even though it was abit overwhelming at times. The early morning boat ride on the Ganges as well as the Aarti ceremony was definitely worth the visit though.

All of the hotels stayd in (specially the Royal Plaza in Delhi) as well as the ground transport (Toyota Innova) were of an excellent standard and this therefor made our stay in India very relaxing and comfortable. The daily bottled water provided in the transport was also a very nice gesture and much appreciated. We would also like to thank Om Prakash again for recommending such excellent optional excursions, which we thoroughly enjoyed and was well worth it.

I would like to thank you, Mr Om Prakash Varma for arranging a very nice tour for my daughter, niece and myself, as per our requests and requirements in Jan 2019. Firstly, i would like to say that the driver assigned to us, Mr Rana, was a very nice, helpful and knowledgeable gentleman, besides being a safe and good driver. It seems he has been with you since many years and I would certainly recommend him to others taking tours around north India through Select India Holidays.

From Jaipur to Agra with a stop at the world famous Abhaneri Step Well was a good start to our short tour. We reached Agra that evening and checked in at the Hotel Crystal Sarovar, which is a very good, well located hotel. Our tour of the Taj Mahal in the evening, before and during sunset was unforgettable, made especially interesting by Mr Manoj, the guide assigned to us, who is more of a historian than a guide. His knowledge and enthusiasm on the subject of Agra's various monuments made our visit to Agra a total pleasure.

The next day started with a visit to Agra Fort in the company of Mr Manoj. We wished later that all our guides would be as good as him, but that was not to be. Our long drive to Delhi was made interesting by Mr Rana giving us snippets of information along the way. The evening visit to the Akshardham Temple including the tour and Sound and Light show, was most impressive and should not be missed by any tourist to Delhi.

We were lucky to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan next morning, as the ticket had to be booked in advance by submitting names and getting security clearance, but our names were not on the list, as they were not submitted. It was a very well performed impressive ceremony by our servicemen. The Qutb Minar, Jantar Mantar and Rajghat visits covered the rest of our tour, as we had visited Delhi previously.

The next day we left by Shatabdi for Amritsar. We drove straight to the Attari/Wagah border for the evening ceremony. The enthusiasm and patriotism of the crowd on the Indian side was quite enthralling. The service men and women participating in the ceremony were very impressive in their bearing and all the posturing was loudly applauded by the people. Very happy to have seen it. Then to the Golden Temple at night. Oh so magnificent! The lights and colour takes one's breath away ! A 'must' see for anyone touring India. A very different picture when visiting in the daytime, which we did the next day, but no less impressive. The cleanliness of the place, the service of the volunteers an the maintenance of the temple by the devotees, leaves one wondering why this is not emulated in other temples. Of course the Langar and its preparation and serving, is in a class by itself !

The young guide assigned to us was very good and we would not have seen the Golden Temple the way we did were it not for him. Visited the Jalianwalla Bagh garden. Sad episode in our history, and quite harrowing for the descendants of the martyrs to think of the wrong that was done to their families.

Al in all a short, but well arranged tour by Select India Holidays. The rooms in Jaycee Vasant Continental in Delhi's were dated and need to be renovated, but the Sarovar hotels in both Agra and Amritsar were good. The air conditioned car was comfortable and Mr Rana as the driver, made us feel safe and well looked after. This is the second trip to Delhi, Agra & Rajasthan done through Mr Varma and I would recommend Select India Holidays for a visit to North India, as the owner, Mr Om Prakash Varma, personally takes care and is just a phone call away during the tour.

Thank you Prakash, It’s me Katherine and happy to share my tour feedback with you of Delhi Agra Jaipur and Kashmir Tour just finished last week. Happy to share that the tour we enjoyed was marvelous and beyond our expectation. Me and my office colleague’s really enjoyed every part of our holiday we paid for specially Jaipur, Pahalgam, Gulmarg but not Agra nothing there apart from Taj. The Tour was perfectly designed with your carrier experience in the hospitality industry, Loved the hotels you choose for our holiday, specially Holiday Inn Centre City Jaipur centrally located and used full benefit of staying in the City Centre upon reaching we went out and had a walk for along the Mirza Ismail Road both days and enjoyed our shopping there bought Saari, Kurti and many things. The Crystal Sarovar of Agra among the hotel we like most and used its Roof Top Restaurant and swimming as well.

Delhi Hotel Lemon Tree was Ok and like it’s breakfast, luckily your issued our tickets on Indiga Air as Jet Airways cancelled it’s all flights and stopped it all operational flight during our holiday. Lovely we enjoyed the flight to Srinagar over the Himalayan Mountains and reached at Airport in-time. Your local representative Shaqib meet us and was with us through our tour started from Srinagar airport till back to airport. The Tempo in Srinagar was Ok but we were missing the Tempo you gave all of us during the Golden Circuit It was brand new with comfy seats with enough leg space. You informed us the quality of vehicle Kashmir and were not expecting the same type of Van but still Ok and we enjoyed our Kashmir Holiday with that too.

We enjoyed the Tulip Festival going on thru our travel time, a special thanks for letting us know about the local festival, we spent our mostly time taking photo’s along with these beautiful flowers and also enjoyed the other things like The Shakara ride on the Lake along our Cottage we stayed. Also enjoyed Gandoola ride on Gulmarg and relished our snow activities, spent on the top of the hill for more 2 hours as we paid for the second phase, it was like a heaven on the Earth and came down when we think it might get us sick. We really loved the Kashmir Park and may plan only Kashmir trip with my family only as they are not able to stop them after seeing the photo’s. we were all interested for the River Rafting but the water was too cold, no one even dare to raft on as we think it was not safe.

Now the Pahalgam, quite different than Gulmarg but lovely valley we gone through on our local Jeeps you booked, our guide Shaqib took us Betab, Aru and Chandanwadi Valley and got surprised when we reach hotel that we are going to have our dinner outside like a special theme. Enjoyed a lot my colleague Sue were nice and won the dance price among us. Dear Om, we will come us with our next holiday specially in Kashmir soon and happy to use your service only. Firstly, Thanks to Om and his team making our Rajasthan Trip luxury insisting us to stay in 5 Star Hotels Le Meridien. Radisson Blu, Shahpura House, Radisson Jodhpur and Lakend Udaipur for our 10 Days Rajasthan Tour started with 2 nights – Delhi, 1 night – Agra, 2 nights – Jaipur, 1 Night – Jodhpur, 2 night – Udaipur and again last night in Delhi as our flight was in the early hours around 5 AM.

Thanks Om again keeping your promise and given same hotels you promised for our holiday , we don’t have words to explain how our stay was in a very cheap price, though we got annoyed by the weather as we did not spend much time in the attractions in the cities you mentioned, we asked our all guides to explain what they have about the attractions we are going to explore and had a quick go through almost every places we visiting apart from Taj on our 3rd day as it was raining and after raining the city given us full time to see the Taj and spend few hours and took lots of pictures with such type of monument people loving to visit, it was like a dream came true.

Guides : Happy with all guides you allotted us for our trip Sanjeev in Delhi, Manoj in Agra, Bhawani in Jaipur, Surendra in Jodhpur and Pratab in Udaipur, Whatever Questions we had they replied in detail along with the story behind. Giving you Nine and half out of Ten on your guide services with full marks to Manoj of Agra. Keep up using all these guides to maintain the highly quality services.

Food : we were not comfortable with Indian food before the trip, but we were wrong as the food we had was fabulous, no complaints not even a single in any of the hotels we ate. We used hotels inhouse restaurant for our dinner, though it was expensive but never wanted take any chance and used your recommended restaurants / hotels for our lunch during the day to be moresafer side. One more – one more thing I wish to tell you, a big thank you for suggesting us having our meal in Indiana restaurant with Folk Dances, we loved a lot the food as well the 2 girls dancing to entertain the tourist came to have dinner in the restaurant.

Car & Driver : Thanks again to assign Deepak as our driver, very nice in nature always polite, punctual came even slightly before time we gave him all the days and the Car, always neat and clean with air-con blower on all our seats – no complaints happy to say that will use him again if travel through Northern Part of India.

Now if going through over all trip, Me and my family happy and would like to salute your services, keep maintain the same quality and you will be getting big success soon, this is my words you as a business man I feel. Hello Team Select India, just back and wish to share my feedback with you all…. ?. I would like to thanks you all including my driver Hari who took us around on our recent the circuit Golden Triangle for 5 days and 4 nights, always on time throughout the trip. The guides we got on each city were great, well in speaking, knowledgeable, reliable and always ready to explore what they have about the city there into. Since you asked for detailed feedback I am writing you the detailed one.

Impressed with quality of hotels you choose for our 5 Days Trip started with a night stay each in Delhi and Agra + 2 nights in Jaipur, we really loved stayed in Agra’s Crystal Sarovar as it just adjacent to KFC me and my family member’s always love to have snacks on KFC. We like Crystal Sarover very much along Delhi’s Lemon Tree and Holiday Inn Jaipur as well centrally located. Definitely recommend other’s to stay in the hotels without hesitation the staff always meets you with smiling face and greet you with folding hands.

Thanks to book our dinner at the hotels, as me and my family members were not comfortable having our meals outside as being foreigner we are not used to having so much spice and oily food available in the street, the meal we had in Crystal Sarovar, Lemon Tree and Holiday Inn as outstanding and Indian cuisine with mixed variety of Continental, Chinese and other cuisine we all enjoyed every bite during all our 5 Days since beginning right from Delhi, Agra and Jaipur too. Now I fully confident on your services and understand what you were trying to make me understand while communication regarding the price. You were right other Tour Company Holiday India was not supposed to give our meals at the hotels, totally agree and understand how the tour operators attract the people by giving lower price and show’s themselves competitive and the actual things tourist see while touring.

Now on attractions we gone through enjoyed all and loved to enjoy Abhaneri well-step and Amber fort a lot after Taj Mahal. Special thanks keeping the Taj show in Agra it was wonderful and a full story of taj, if we see this show we don’t even require guide. We enjoyed your comp. Dinner at Indiana restaurant too with Dances local dance, it was amazing and made our trip unforgettable. Now Om, planning to visit Nepal as well for 7 Days next year including Lumbani linked with Buddha and will be happy you give us a price for a family of 4 Adults + 2 Kids Age 13 and 9 Yrs old with decent 4 Star hotels must be centralized so we can at least move around even after the sightseeing and may see night life. Like to stay Kathmandu 2 nights, Lumbini - 1 night and Pokhara 2 nights, please send detailed tour programme and list of hotels, I will sit with my family members and will decide. I know you will not be in Nepal and I am sure have a better partner serving your clients traveling in the Himalayan Region.

As always planning for a holiday we were looking through some travel agents and came across with select India holidays. Where should I start, from planning our whole itenary for the 10 fabulous days in north India. My family and I planned to have a trip to New Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, jodhpur, udaipur and varanasi. Honestly among all of our holidays travelling around the world select India holidays have definitely given the best holidays for my family and I. Mr Om prakash who was the one that planned our holiday and personally greeted us at the airport with warm welcome. We were given a very good and comfortable tempo and it was so clean and kept nicely. Did not expect this. They then dropped us at our first hotel when we arrived at New Delhi. We were given wonderful and top notch best five start hotels and we loved our stays throughout the 10 days although we have been moving diffrent cities and getting to pack our stuffs everytime and hopping to a new hotels, all our hotels made us felt like we were coming back to home. Thanks to select India holidays for booking this wonderful and comfortable hotels for us. Moreover our package was together with breakfast and dinner so the only time we eat locally at the restaurants is for lunch. They never fail to bring us to the best local restaurant and it was so clean and well kept. It’s was so nice of them to always made sure that our Lunch is equally as good and clean everytime.

Besides that, they made sure we are having a good time and always calls up and check if everything is going well. They also made sure that they bring us everywhere at the right time and not late to anywhere we go. They brought us everywhere as they promised too in the itenary. India is famous for its rich culture and heritage. If you want to experience a great diversity then I would suggest that you have a trip to India. My wife and I went to India in the first week of November. We planned to visit Rajasthan. So our journey started from Delhi, where our flight has landed from London. Winter had just arrived in the capital of India. I had researched a lot about the weather of India and finally decided to visit in November as it is difficult to enjoy a trip during hot and sweaty summers!

So we arrived at Asthan Hotel in New Delhi which was just 30-35 minutes away from Indira Gandhi International Airport. This four star hotel had all the basic amenities in every room like a beautiful furnished interior which had LCD TV, ironing board, minibar and tea-and-coffee maker and a facility of direct-dial telephone. We both rested and started our sightseeing from that evening.

Our guide first took us to India Gate which is in Central Delhi. We were lucky to witness that monument during night because that is when it was lit up with bright lights which made that place more attractive. After that within two days we visited eleven more places. The musical fountain show at Akshardham temple is still fixed in our memory. We were just so mesmerized during our visits to every single corner of the capital. It would be an injustice if I would just suggest you to visit few places in Delhi. Every single place was worth seeing. Our second destination was Agra. It was just a three hour drive from Delhi. We arrived at this place to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We just threw our bags at Crystal Sarovar Hotel and went straight to see the Taj Mahal. That white marble building had left us awestruck. My wife who is fond of Indian traditional wear bought her favourite benarsi saree from the local market.

We hurriedly packed our bags the next day and went off to Rajasthan. We had a target to visit Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. The moment we encountered a herd of camels, we realized that we had entered to Rajasthan. Our car stopped at Golden Tulip Hotel in Jaipur. We went to Chowki Dhani freshening up a bit in hotel. The best thing about Chowkidhani is its rustic rural setting, food and folk dance show. It was just so irresistible to join the group of the girls who were doing the famous folk dance kalbelia that in the end we joined them! We went to Hawa Mahal the next day and after that we spent our whole day buying Rajasthani Handicrafts. My wife enjoyed a shopping spree. We also enjoyed ‘katputli show’ in the market. After that we visited our next destination, Jodhpur. Since we were here for just one day, we visited this very famous Mehrangarh Fort. We could see the whole city from the top of the fort. There was a continuous thought in my mind about the creators of such marvelous monuments.

Finally, we arrived at our last destination, Udaipur. We enjoyed boat rides here and visited many forts as well. We came back to Delhi and slept for the whole day in the hotel. This lemon Tree Premier hotel has a very welcoming staff. We finally relaxed and pampered ourselves at the spa. Let me tell you one great thing about my trip and that is the fact that after coming back to London I am missing the Rajasthani food desperately, specially that Daal Baati churma and those tasty sweets!

Since long I’ve been wanting to explore few famous cities of Rajasthan with my family but we were waiting for the winter break. When the winter break was about to begin, we started searching for Rajasthan tour packages online and the tour package offered by Select India was the best because it exactly matched our budget and requirements. So we went for this. This was our first ever trip to India, we were completely unaware about the land and even had second thoughts about the trip until we realized that choosing Select India as our travel guide was the best decision we made.

The initial 2 days of the trip were in the Pink City of India, that is Jaipur. So, we landed at Jaipur airport and a taxi was pre-booked to pick us up and drop us at Vimal heritage. The hotel seemed pleasant and royal because of its traditional ambience and the rooms were pretty clean and equipped with all the basic facilities. After a long rest, our tour operator Mr. Ramesh came to pick us from the hotel for sightseeing.

First, Mr. Ramesh took us to the most beautiful part of Jaipur that is Amber fort and palace. The architecture was beautiful and Sheesha Mahal is a beautiful hall. My kids really enjoyed the Elephant ride there. The next visit was to the Hawa Mahal which is one of the most visited monuments because of its giant crown like design. Later Mr. Ramesh took us to the famous Chowki dhani which is a great place with nice ambience and serves a variety of cuisines. 2nd day was also great as Mr. Ramesh took us to the City Palace that is one of the most remarkable monuments. We spent quite some time at the great museum in there which showcases Rajput culture. Later we he took us to the famous Pink city bazaar where my kids bought a lot of traditional Indian things.

Next morning, we travelled to our next spot that was Jaisalmer via road and in about 10 hours we reached our hotel, Golden haveli. The place was comfortable with a beautiful architecture and great facilities. Later during the day, we went for a Desert Safari in Jaisalmer where I and my family enjoyed the scenic view on a camel ride. Mr. Ramesh took us to the Jaisalmer fort which is indeed a beautiful palace. 2nd day at Jaisalmer was fun too as Mr. Ramesh took us to the Gadisar lake where we enjoyed the view from a boat ride and then we visited the main Bazaar of the town which was beautifully decorated.

Later at night we checked out for our next destination that was Jodhpur and via road - we reached in approximately 5 hours where we checked in to Mandore guest house which is a great place to stay. Later that night, Mr. Ramesh took us to the famous Mehrangarh fort and museum which is a captivating massive site with preserved art. Then we visited the popular Kalyana lake. We had our dinner at the hotel and no the food and service were very good.

Next day we left for Udaipur and after a 4-hour ride, we checked in to Amantra Comfort, a comfortable place with gorgeous décor. 1st day Mr. Ramesh took us to the famous city palace with enthral art and one of the oldest and largest lakes, Lake Pichola. 2nd day at Udaipur was great as we visited Sajjangarh fort renowned for the height it is made at and the famous Fateh Sagar lake which was as blue as the sky.

That is how my entire trip went and I am glad that I chose Select India as my travel guide.

UK has always been an attractive destination for Indians, little do they know that it is also true vice versa. I personally so wanted to visit the famous cities of India and explore each of them with my friends and that happened to me only because of Select India. The tour packages by them were the best amongst all so we opted for this one.

We landed at Delhi airport and all we wanted was a nice tour operator. Luckily, our tour operator Jatin was already there to pick us up. Our stay for the day, Lemon tree Premiere was quite near the airport. It was a pleasant place with nice ambience also the rooms were comfortable and clean. Later in the evening we got to visit two beautiful memorials, India Gate and Raj Ghat.

Next morning, we left Delhi for our 1stdestination- that was Agra. We reached there in about 4 hours and checked in to our hotel, Crystal Sarovar a very peaceful place with prompt services and great rooms. Later in the afternoon, Jatin took us to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal which is an ultimate scenic beauty. We also visited the Agra fort and the massive red sandstone monument with high walls is a must visit place.

Next day we left for Jaipur. Me and my friends were very excited about this particular place as it is the one of most attractive tourist destinations. We reached Jaipur and checked in to the Holiday Inn City Centre. The hotel had fantastic ambience and wasn’t too far from the main city. On our day 1 in Jaipur, we went to the City Palace, which is one of the most remarkable monuments with one part of it converted into a great museum which showcases Rajput culture. The next visit was to the Hawa Mahal and the many windows and the beautiful architecture made for a very unique experience. 2nd day was amazing as we visited Amber fort, which was supposed to be one of the best places to see, and the beauty of the place and little structures in there just proved the perception right. We also visited Johari Bazaar to shop a little bit.

We then left for the next spot, Jodhpur, via road and reached there in about 6 hours. As soon as we reached, we checked in to this beautiful Indian style hotel called Ratan Vilas. The place had a traditional touch and the rooms were great as well. Later that day, Jatin took us to Mandore Garden which has several small cenotaphs and then we visited Jawant Thada, where the marble construction of the monument was simply enchanting. One of the highlights of the city was the Mehrangarh fort, which we were told is one of the largest forts in India. There is also a museum in there, and looking at the various unique artifacts there was a nice experience.

We then travelled to our next destination Udaipur which took us around 7 hours via road. We checked in to Lakend Udaipur, a place with perfect décor and comfortable rooms. On our first day in Udaipur Mr. Jatin arranged for a visit to the Vintage Car Museum and we loved the place as we all are fond of vintage cars. After that we went to Doodh Talai Musical Temple which is famous for its fountain garden where we enjoyed sunset. The second day was fun too as we visited Sajjangarh fort renowned for the height it is made at and Jagmandir that looked really alluring in the evening with all the lights and decoration.

The trip was easy and comfortable because the tour operator was so warm and cordial to us. I was a little apprehensive about this tour before we came, but now that I have finished my tour, I would say opting for a package with Select India was the best decision for this tour.

India has always fascinated me because of its rich diversity in culture. My wife and I have recently visited to India on our honeymoon. This was one of our dream destinations. We had planned and chose to visit Rajasthan because the state has still preserved the essence of the culture of India. I still remember that we arrived to India on Valentine’s Day. It was impressive to see all those vendors selling red roses on all most every other road. So, we stayed at Le Meredian Hotel in Delhi. Since this hotel was in Central Delhi, all the places were in close proximity. We rested for the whole day when we arrived but in the evening we went to Akshardham Temple to see the famous fountain show. The next day we hired a guide and that guy took us to Rajghat, the cremation ground of MK Gandhi. We got to learn a lot about Gandhi in a nearby Museum. Within one day that guide had helped us to visit every corner of Delhi. I remember the difference between the Old Delhi and Lutyen’s Delhi. We chilled at India gate and also enjoyed at Ski India which was in Noida.

Our next spot was Agra. We reached that place within five to six hours. We had booked our stay at Radisson Blu and were just mesmerized when we arrived there. We took a spa and had our lunch. We went to see the magnificent Taj Mahal and also covered few places like fatehpur sikri and Jama Masjid. We bought a souvenir of Taj Mahal as a memento from that place.

So finally we left for Rajasthan the next day. We had planned to visit Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. We were already very enthusiastic to visit that state since the best part about Rajasthan is the palaces. So we grasped this opportunity and planned our stay at the Jai Mahal Palace. This palace has in itself many things to explore and from its architecture to the cuisine they serve, everything was just elegant. We visited Chokidhani at night to experience the wonderful shows which are generally organized at that time. We enjoyed the katputli show and kalbelia folk dance. The next day we went to the famous Sheesh Mahal and Hawa Mahal. We kept wondering how within a distance of a few kilometers everything keeps changing in India from the dress, food, culture to different lifestyles! We bought lots of handicrafts from this place.

We drove to our next destination, which was Jodhpur. After arriving at the Radisson hotel we hurried to visit Mehrangarh fort as we were short of time. We just forgot all our tiredness after enjoying the adventurous flying fox at that fort. We also visited Umaid Bhawan Palace and then finally packed our bags to depart for Udaipur. This city of lakes was very beautiful. Every part of it was worth capturing. The dawns and dusks were breathtaking. We enjoyed boating at Lake Pichola in the evening. The next day we wanted to take balloon Safari over the lake city but we could not as the weather didn’t allowed us. Finally we rested in our hotel Lakend which had beautiful views and then we went to the place from where we started, which was Delhi. The memories of our honeymoon are still very fresh in our hearts.

Me and my friends, Tom and Harry always wanted to visit India and explore all the unexplored gems India had to offer. We finally did it this year. We contacted select India holidays operator Shreya, she made a specific itinerary for us arranging to let us explore all the local delights.

We landed in Delhi late at night. We directly went to our hotel Ashtan Sarovar. The next morning, we went to hauz khas market. The streets were full of swanky bars, cafes, lounges and designer shops. We explored the fort and clicked many of its pictures. The lake and park were refreshing and very beautiful. After lunch, we left for Jaipur with our driver Hari. He was a huge help the entire time we were in Rajasthan. On our way there, Hari insisted we check out Chand Baori, in Abhaneri. It is a 100 feet deep step well, which was constructed in the 8th century. It is the biggest step well in India. We reached Jaipur late at night and checked in our hotel, golden tulip. The next day we planned to visit all the forts in the pink city and we were not able to accomplish it. We could only cover Amer Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Hawa Mahal and Jal Mahal which was built right in the middle of Man Sagar Lake. We were spellbound by their architecture and the beautiful stories weaved around them. We love animals, so, we could not miss going to Jhalana Leopard Conservation Reserve. In the evening, we set off to Agra and reached our hotel, Crystal Sarovar.

The next day, we went to see Taj Mahal and were awestruck after knowing the story behind this huge gesture of love. After that, we saw Agra Fort and left for Delhi to catch our flight to Kochi, the beautiful city of Kerala. We reached our hotel Avenue Regent in Kochi early in the morning. Immediately after checking in, we left for Cherai beach to have a swim and get refreshed. After freshening up and some authentic breakfast, we went to fort Kochi. It was so big that we spent the entire afternoon in it exploring the palaces and churches inside it. We took tons of pictures and finally left for Munnar. We were staying at a hotel named Sienna Village. It was a beautiful hill station covered in tea plantations and water falls. We spent an entire day in them and went to an offbeat forest trail to hike the next day. I have never seen a more beautiful view in my entire life.

Our next destination was Thekkady and we stayed at cardamom country. We only had a day in Thekkady and wanted to make it count. We went to Thekkady Lake, which is tucked in the middle of the jungle. It is famous for its wide varieties in wildlife. We also took a boat ride in the reservoir. Jojy also took us to a great European café Grandma’s Café. We absolutely loved the food there and were sad to leave its tranquillity.

We left for Kumarakom the same day and checked in our hotel Lakesong resort. Kerala is famous for its backwaters and on our insistence, Jojy look us deep in the local villages where we caught our own food and cooked it right there on the backwaters. Seafood had never tasted better. Our last stop was Alleppey where Shreya arranged us to live in rainbow cruise. We lived on that houseboat for an entire day and have never experienced peace like that.

We went off to Kochi the next day to catch a flight back to London. The hospitality we received from Hari and Jojy Mathews was commendable and we got to taste the world famous Indian cuisine. In addition, a special mention for our tour organise Shreya, who make sure we had a once in a lifetime experience and get to see the real India and its culture.

My family and I have just came back from the Golden Triangle Tour of India. The immense happiness and freshness we are still feeling is inexpressible. We had chosen Select India for planning our tour. We arrived at Taj Palace in Delhi. The staff of this hotel was very humble and helpful. The food was also according to our taste. The hotel provided us a driver whose name was Manoj. He was the reason that we were able to visit so many places in Delhi in just two days. Manoj first took us to India Gate and then we visited Rashtrapati Bhawan as well which was just few meters away from there. The design of that building was very commendable. I should mention that Manoj was taking good care of us. The next day we had planned to visit almost every monument of the national capital. We first went to Qutub Minar and then went to Jama Masjid, Red Fort, and Old Fort in straight one go. Manoj bought ‘Shahi Tukra’ for us at Jama Masjid. We had never tasted a sweet like that before. We came to know about history of almost every monument with the help of displays which had information about that place. Manoj then drove to Akshardham Temple and said ‘you cannot miss to visit this place, when you are in Delhi’. We at the end understood why he said so. Finally we went back to Taj and had our dinner.

The next day we departed for Agra. We requested Manoj to take us directly to the Taj Mahal. So our car directly stopped there and we were just captivated at the very first moment when we saw the white dome. Further when we went inside, the intricate architecture left us spellbound. Then after that we went to our hotel Taj Convention Centre. We ate our lunch there and went to visit Fatehpur Sikri and Tomb of Akbar. We had enjoyed this journey of witnessing Mughal Architecture.

After coming back to our hotel we packed our bags and departed for Jaipur in that night only. We stayed at Jai Mahal Palace. We were very hungry when we reached there and the palace made sure to satisfy our taste buds with their food. My fondness for animals took me to Jhalana Leopard Conservation Reserve on the very next morning. After that we went to Amber Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal and Abhaneri Step well, I was mesmerized with the thought behind construction of Abhaneri Step Well which was to conserve water. This day was also well spent. We discovered a lot on our trip and fascination for India has increased more than before.

We came back to Delhi to board our flight. This was how our Golden Triangle Trip was completed. The trip gave us a beautiful and learning experience. We were fortunate to have a humble driver like Manoj who had accompanied us on the whole trip and very thankful to Select India who did a great job in planning our trip.

During this year’s vacations we finally planned to visit India which was being postponed from last year. Being born in India and brought up in USA might have kept me at some distance apart from my motherland but India has always resided in my heart. So finally I decided to take my family on the Golden Triangle Trip of India.

We arrived at the Le Meridian Hotel in New Delhi, which is among the best five star hotels of central Delhi. My wife is a foreigner and she was also excited to see my country. The services of hotel were mind blowing. They welcomed us with their great hospitality. We roamed on the streets of Connaught Place after we had our dinner. The hotel has provided us a driver named Rana. He was an experienced driver and was well aware about how to cover maximum places in short duration. The next day we started our trip and visited to Lotus Temple. This place is perfect for meditation. I finally realized that why the Iranian architect Fariborz Sahba had won so many awards for the design of this temple. Then we visited to Red Fort and Qutub Minar. My wife always wanted to visit Hindu temples. So Rana took us to Iskon and Chattarpur temple. After this we went to Nehru Memorial Museum and came to know a lot about Jawaharlal Nehru’s living style. I also took my family to watch the show ‘Stars and wonders of the universe’ at Nehru Planetarium. That 3-D display of the universe was wonderful.

The next day we went to Agra. I was very eager to see the Taj Mahal. My wife and I loved the Mughal architecture very much. We stayed at the luxurious ITC Mughal at Agra. We loved the interior of our room and the facilities it had in it. The food was also great. Our driver Rana even helped us to buy good things from Agra. We took many selfies at Taj Mahal and took great shots from our camera. After having delicious dinner at ITC we took a good sleep as we have a further two day schedule planned for Jaipur.

We departed for Jaipur early morning and reached there in five hours. We had booked Samode Haveli for our two day stay. This larger than life haveli has maintained the tradition of Rajasthan while providing all modern facilities like pools, fitness centre and wifi connections. We spend some leisure time there. Rana had planned a good trip for us. First we went to Amber Fort and also enjoyed the elephant ride. My wife bought many things from the nearby Johri bazar. The handicrafts of Rajasthan were very beautiful and attractive. We also went to Hawa Mahal and City Palace. Rana our driver was a Rajput and he told us a lot about Rajasthani architecture which is the amalgamation of Hindu and Mughal architecture. He told us that chhatri, jharokha, stepwell, haveli and johad are among the main features of rajasthani architecture. Everything in Rajasthan was extremely beautiful. My wife and I became fan of Indian architecture. It is diversified in nature.

We came back to Delhi to board our flight back to USA. My trip to India or a visit to my roots will always stay in my memory.

Being a big fan of Indian culture and heritage, it was always a dream to visit it and explore. So I went to India last month with my friends. We had targeted to take the Golden triangle tour that is to Delhi-Agra-Rajasthan.

I still remember when we arrived in Delhi, it was raining. We took a cab and ran to our hotel which was Vasant Continental. This five star hotel pampered us with a warm welcome. The hotel provided us a driver who was a very sweet guy and his name was Hari Bhagwan We all ate our dinner and planned our trip with the help of the guide who was available at the hotel premises itself.

So without wasting much time we left for Agra the very next morning. After reaching at our hotel Jaypee Palace, we all got fresh in few minutes and left to visit Taj Mahal. We all took many photos of the monument and read all information about it which was available there. We went to Fatehpur Sikri and did some shopping. We rushed to our hotel as we had to depart for Rajasthan.

The same night Hari drove for six hours and we had reached to our destination. Our stay was at Anurag Palace in Ranthambore. We went to Ranthambore National Park and saw tigers alive which was like a dream come true to watch a wild animal in his habitat. We were little afraid but more excited.

After having this wonderful experience with tigers we went to our next place that was Jaipur. We were welcomed by the staff of Radisson. We enjoyed body spa at this hotel, which was necessary to continue our trip with more enthusiasm. Then after having a finger-licking meal we went to Amber Fort. We enjoyed camel and elephant rides. We also went to the huge, elegant and luxurious City Palace. There is something very attractive about Rajasthan and that is its colorful and detailed architecture. We were all so mesmerized that we could not even imagine the time one palace or haveli would had taken in its construction.

The next day we reached to Laalgarh Palace in Bikaner. We were lucky that we got an opportunity to enjoy the Camel Festival here which is only celebrated in the month of January. Hari had decided Jaislmer as our next destination. We took rest at Rang Mahal which was again one of the best Mahals with the representation of the rich and royal Rajput culture in its architecture and ambience. Hari dropped us at Desert Safari and at that place we hired another driver. We again enjoyed camel ride here and clicked lots and lots of photos.

Indana Palace was the one which we had booked at our next spot- Jodhpur. Since we were here for just one day so we chose to visit the most popular Mehrangarh Fort without wasting any time. After this our last destination was the City of Lakes- Udaipur. Finally we arrived at our last hotel Lakend hotel and rested for good number of hours. The next day we went for boating at Fateh Sagar Lake. We were enjoying and talking about our trip during the boat ride. The moments we had captured in our cameras were rejuvenating our memories.

Finally our beautiful trip had come to an end and we finally board our flight from IGI Airport, New Delhi.

Visiting India has always been my dream and i got to live it with my wife and four kids. The richness in their culture and heritage have always attracted me and getting to experience that personally, was truly an unforgettable experience.

We landed in Delhi late at night and directly went to our hotel Ashton Sarovar. The hotel was a modern 4-star property with spacious suites. We woke up early in the morning to leave for Agra after having our delicious breakfast. We reached Agra around noon and asked our driver Maninder to take us directly to Taj Mahal. The grandeur of Taj left us spellbound and mesmerized. Our friends who had been to India before did not do it justice in describing its beauty. We went to get lunch after that at an Indian dhaba, which Maninder suggested to us. From there we went to Fatehpur Sikri, Agra fort and finished our day with some shopping. We then checked in our hotel Crystal Sarovar and enjoyed in the outdoor pool facilities. We went to bed early after some light dinner, as we had to leave for Jaipur, early in the morning.

We checked in our hotel, Golden Tulip and explored the pink city. We first went to Hawa Mahal and shopped from the local market around it. After that, we went to Nahargarh Fort, which had beautiful views of the Aravalli hills. We grabbed a quick bite and went to Amer Fort. The sound and light show was amazing and on the way back to hotel, we stopped at Jal Mahal for 5 minutes to click some pictures. The next day we explored city palace. It was a huge place and had a lot of history. Maninder, our driver, was our unofficial tour guide for the entire trip. He told us all about the history and interesting facts about the places we visited. Our next stops were Albert Hall Museum and Jaigarh fort. We did not even notice that our time in Jaipur was finished.

On our way to Jaisalmer, we stopped in Bikaner for a night at lallgarh palace. There, we went to Junagarh fort, built in the 16th century. Jaisalmer was beautiful with its yellow sandstone architecture. I completely understand why it is called the ‘golden city’. We visited the Jaisalmer fort and enjoyed boating at the Gadsisar Lake the first day. We stayed at Mandir Palace our first night. The next day, we stayed at winds desert camp, went to see Patwa Haveli, Bada Bagh, and had the time of our life at dessert safari.

Out next destination was Jodhpur. We checked into our beautiful hotel, Ratan Vilas and set out to explore the city. First, we went to Mehrangarh Fort and Museum. After that, we saw Kaylana Lake and Balsamand Lake. Next, we stopped at Jojawar for a day at Rawla Jojawar. There, we went for the train safari in the afternoon. It took us through the Aravalli hill ranges. The scenic beauty and tranquillity of Aravalli’s refreshed us completely. It is a very small village but full of traditions and culture. The people were very polite and welcoming.

Our journey was almost at the end. Our second last stop was Udaipur, city of lakes. We stayed at a grand palace, Udai Kothi. We were left awestruck at how much Udaipur had to offer us. From its magnificent palaces to the beautiful lakes, our itinery was full. The first day we covered the City palace, Lake Pichola, Lake Palace and Jag Mandir. The second day we went to Jagdish temple, Lake Fatehsagar, Saheliyon ki Bari and Bagore Ki Haveli.

Our last stop was Pushkar. We stayed at the Green House Resort. It was the favourite hotel of the kids. They loved the pool and huge gardens they had to offer. Pushkar had many temples. We went to see them all and ended our day with a picnic by the Pushkar Lake. The next day, Maninder dropped us off at Indra Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. I would like to thank a few people who made our entire tour easy. All the guides who explained the history of every palace in detail and Mr. Om Prakash, our tour organiser who made did an amazing job planning our entire trip.

First of all, that you for giving and suggesting a nice Golden Triangle for 5 Days, started from Delhi your own city, Agra and Jaipur and took our flight for Dubai.

Let me give you our feedback in details, In luckily meet a nice person it was off-course you OM on our arrival with your tour driver Mr. Rana, you assigned for us and enjoyed our tour with the tour guide Mr. Manoranjan a lovely guide with lot’s of information about the city, history, ancient stories like Mahabharat, Ramayana, Hinduism, Shikishm etc. me and my wife both were impressed about his knowledge.

On the following day, we asked our drive rana for a straight drive to Agra (No stop) in between, He was nice to us and asked us that he may stop the vehicle to take photo’s, tea / coffee break. We thought that we supposed to take a break so that rana can rest a bit before heading ahead and we had a nice coffee as well. After that we continue our drive till Agra where we stayed at Radisson Blu a nice selection indeed. We met with your Agra guide (Mr. Manoj), who came to meet us and given us option to visit Taj Mahal (by sunrise or after breakfast), then we asked that we want him to come after breakfast as we bother tired and wanted to have a relaxed tour not a rush tour.

After breakfast, enjoyed our Agra Tour with Mr. Manoj and excellent guide treating us like a family member and serving from his own soul, he suggested us many nice sites where we got nice pictures with taj may share you our photo’s if you wish to use to promote your business. Manoj suggested us a nice restaurant Pinch of Spice a nice and reasonable if compare the hotel menu price. After having our meal at Pinch of Spice we started our journey towards to Jaipur with a stop at Abha Nagri step-well nice and well-kept place in a village.

We like Jaipur very much, specially our Hotel Shahpur House, a nice heritage hotel with colourful environment where we had a lovely dinner with some rajasthani local dance performance and enjoyed our Jaipur Tour as well with our Guide Bhawani took us to the tourist places you listed on our itinerary including some of the nice shopping centre where we bought a statue of Ganesha made by semi-precious stone. And on the next day got our flight to Dubai after a lovely trip.

Overall, we enjoyed the trip very much and wish to visit the other parts of your lovely country next year for sure. A special thanks to you and your team who were part of our India Trip.

Our tour organizer Om Prakash put his every effort to make our honeymoon special and full of adventures. He advised us to be a part of the Golden Triangle Tour of India. Om had booked every luxurious hotel and included only the best places to visit on our trip. So our first hotel was Vasant Continental when we arrived at Delhi. The staff gave us very warm welcome and yes the food was very hygienic and tasty. The hotel also provided us with the facility of our own driver. His name was Ashok. He took us to Akshardham Temple at night for the famous fountain show. Next day we went to Red Fort and Jama Masjid. The streets of Old Delhi had lot to explore. Since we are huge lovers of art, we went to theNational Gallery of Modern Art too.

Our next destination after Delhi was Mandawa and we stayed at Castle Mandawa. This place was so elegant and soothing. We ate the traditional Rajasthani food. We visited the royal Rajput havelis of Anand Lal Poddar and Hem Raj Kulwal. My wife picked up a ton of souvenirs from the colourful markets. Each and every street of Rajasthan was justifying its rich tradition.

Om had planned our stay at Lallgarh Palace in Bikaner. The services at this grand palace were wonderful. The architecture had such beautiful and detailed elements. We went to Junagarh Fort and a hindu temple named Karni Mata Temple. This temple has thousands of rats and they are believed to be sacred. After coming back to our hotel we departed for Jaisalmer. Ashok had suggested that we take both, elephant and camel rides. Apart from those rides, we also enjoyed the desert safari in Jaisalmer. I would suggest not to miss this!

The next destination was Jodhpur. We stayed at the royal Ratan Vilas. We visited the Mehrangarh fort and captured many photos. This fort gave the view of the whole city which was completely unbelievable. We came back and immediately left for Jaipur. The Shahpura House, where our car stopped, left us in a moment of disbelief with its immense beauty. The Rajasthani hotels had the blend of old and new traditions. In this high technological world, every palace or hotel while providing the modern facilities, preserved the beauty of a tradition. We went to Jal Mahal and Amber fort. We both had forgotten that we were on our honeymoon and feeling that we were on a tour of discovery and adventure. Thank you, Royal Ratan Vilas!

After enjoying the whole day, we decided to relax in our room and get ready for more fun and adventure!The next morning, we departed for Agra. We both were dying to see the symbol of love-Taj Mahal. Finally we reached Crystal Sarovar at Agra. We refreshed ourselves with a chilled cocktail and went to see the Taj Mahal. The Mughal architecture was just so beautiful.

With this, our honeymoon had come to an end. We boarded our flight from Delhi and the memories of this trip will stay in our hearts forever! We are very thankful to our trip planner Om Prakash and the fantastic driver Ashok. We will definitely chose Om to plan our next holiday

My husband and I have been together from our college days. We had studied Indian history as one of our subjects and from then, it was our dream to visit India. We reached Delhi in the pleasant month of February. We stayed at Ashthan Sarovar and the services of this hotel left no stone unturned to impress us with their warm hospitality. The hotel also provided us with a driver called Hari Bhagwan. This experienced man helped us to visit many places in our trip. Next day we went to the place dedicated to our favourite man MK Gandhi- Gandhi Smriti. All the memories of our graduation were rejuvenated after learning about him. We also went to the Air Force Museum and Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial. After this, Hari took us to Red Fort, Jama Masjid and Qutub Minar. We went to India Gate in the night that same day!

After this we had planned to visit Rajasthan. Udaipur was our first spot there and we stayed at Udai Kothi. Nothing could be as magnificent and royal as that place. We reached Udaipur in six hours ande went to Chhitorgarh Fort and Maharani Padmini Palace. We gained so much information related to the lifestyle of Rajputs! Beside this, we went to many more places in our two day trip. We also enjoyed the boat ride and ate some Rajasthani snacks.

Next spot was Jodhpur. We had planned our stay at Ratan Vilas. The services of this hotel were as good as the previous ones. We went to Khejarla fort and Sheesh Mahal. The architecture was just so beautiful and captivating that we used to spend so much of our time at one particular spot and used to read books there in the evenings. We had a great experience at Bishnoi Village Safari. My husband enjoyed the pottery session and now thinks we need to get a potter’s wheel at home! We found that this religious community is very close and caring towards nature. Also, wee didn’t miss the adventurous flying fox at Mehrangarh Fort.

After Jodhpur we came to Jaisalmer and booked Rang Mahal to experience a royal stay in the house of Rajputs. Hari helped us be a part of the City Tour of Jaisalmer city. We went to many forts and havelis. We enjoyed boating at Gadisar Lake and it was a great, tranquil experience. We came across an interesting fact that this lake was a man-made reservoir and was made in thirteenth century. We both enjoyed the most daring thing we’ve ever done, and that’s paramotoring, and clicked many photos when we were flying high in the sky. We created many memories at Jaisalmer. After this we left for Bikaner.

The sights we were seeing while travelling was very beautiful and engaging, and we just could not keep our eyes off the road! We stayed at another royal Lallgarh Palace in Bikaner. Next day we visited the majestic Junagarh Fort. We loved the elephant ride over there! There was not a single handicraft which we didn’t pick from the market. We were just amazed while seeing those wonderful creations.

Finally we headed to Jaipur. We stayed at the Golden Tulip hotel. We went to see the marvelous Jal Mahal situated on the Mansagar Lake. We were wondering about the creativity of the earlier architects and it led to a great discussion. We also visited the Ranthambore National park and watched tigers bound about. The admiration towards nature was making us love that place even more!

After this we arrived to Crystal Sarovar Hotel in Agra. The great Taj Mahal was just twelve to fifteen minutes’ drive away. Hari dropped us there and we started analyzing the Mughal architecture. Every single detail on the walls of Taj Mahal was a commendable piece of artwork. We clicked many photographs for our memories. We are thankful to all the guides who helped us at different places and provided us with immense information. Thanks to Hari Bhagwan who made our tour memorable. Our mission to visit India was completed and we wish to visit it again next year. Till then we will live with the most beautiful memories which we created at India.

We enjoyed all the places and monuments we gone through, specially the Erotic Temples of Khajuraho and enjoyed our Varanasi Tour very much including Kashi Vishwanath after boat ride on Ganges and enjoyed the evening aarti as well, it was very tough to go there but our driver Sohai managed to go there and tried his best to look a best seating arrangement for me and my family. I went to India last month with my best friends. We had planned to visit the Golden Triangle. We had also decided to visit Shimla in Himachal Pradesh region and Chandigarh. Our trip started from Delhi. We had booked the Royal Plaza hotel in Delhi. This hotel was as royal and majestic as its name. It was decorated with antique Roman statues, Swarovski crystal chandeliers and European paintings. There was wide variety in cuisine and the food which was served to us was also too delicious! The hotel provided us with the driver whose name was Dharmendra and he was with us on the whole trip. Our trip got more comfortable because of the car we had hired. The Innova Crysta was very spacious and sufficient for the four of us! Next day, Dharmendra took us to Red fort and Qutub Minar. We enjoyed while taking lots of selfies. Also, one of my friend who is fond of photography captured beautiful shots in his camera. We came back to hotel, packed our bags and left for Jaipur.

Dharmendra drove us to the Ramada Hotel in the pink city of Jaipur. The hospitality of the hotel staff were just what is needed to refresh a tired traveler! Next day we went to see the magnificent Amber Fort and Albert hall Museum. The museum had preserved the Rajasthani Tradition and the architecture of every fort we visited was wonderful! We ate some delicious dinner at Indiana Hotel and enjoyed the Rajasthani dance as well. India is the only country which is famous for its rich diversity and culture and we were able to connect to this statement all the while when we were visiting different places. We enjoyed shopping in the colourful markets and bought many Rajasthani handicrafts. We went to Abhaneri Stepwell and to the grand City Palace. I must say Rajputs had a very lavish lifestyle! We learnt a lot about their costumes, food and customs. This was a very exciting learning experience as well.

Our next destination after Jaipur was Agra. Before we went to our hotel, Crystal Sarovar, we went to visit the Taj Mahal. We all became fan of the Mughal architecture after seeing this extremely beautiful monument which is a symbol of Love.

After Agra, we went to Chandigarh and stayed at Lemon Tree hotel. Since we were tired, we just ate our lunch and slept for the whole day. In evening, when we woke up we went to the popular Rock Garden and enjoyed eating some snacks. Our next destination was much awaited one! We planned to stay at Combermere Hotel in Shimla. We had heard a lot about the services of this hotel and were happy to select this for our stay. We ate our breakfast and went to Kufri which was just a forty minute drive from Shimla. The moment we went there we all were awestruck with the beauty of the snow covered mountains. All the tiredness just flew away! We enjoyed horse riding and were lost in absorbing the mesmerizing beauty. We came back to our hotel packed in our jackets and boots and took some rest.

We came back to Delhi, boarded the flight for Malaysia and went back while taking beautiful memories in our hearts.

I got very excited when I got to know that my parents had decided to visit to India on my twentieth birthday. I was on the seventh heaven and started dreaming about the trip from the moment I came to know about it. So let me tell you everything about my trip to Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Chandigarh and the queen of the hills - Shimla!

When we landed in Delhi we went to the Lemon Tree Hotel in Aerocity. We enjoyed and relaxed while bathing in the pool. We were then served with a delicious soup and after that we savoured North Indian cuisine for our dinner. The hotel provided us a comfortable Innova Crysta with an experienced driver- Ashok.

Next day, we went to many monuments like Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar and Red fort. We enjoyed eating the street foods and capturing the city through our lens. In the night before leaving Delhi, we watched the musical fountain show at the Akshardham Temple.

We came back to our hotel, packed our bags and departed for Jaipur. The admiration for this colourful city is something beyond words. We reached the Golden Tulip Hotel after a long six hours drive. I must appreciate the driving skills of Ashok who was selecting the shortest routes and kept us engaged by imparting his knowledge about every place we were visiting. The services of the hotel were excellent! The room gave us the clear view of the Nahargarh fort. Next day we went to Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and City Palace. The architecture of every fort of Jaipur was too captivating and attractive. The intricate designs had left us spellbound.

Our next destination was the beautiful city of Agra. I had learnt about the ‘Seven wonders of the World’ in fourth class and finally going to see one! We all got engrossed in the beauty of the Taj Mahal, once we caught the sight of it. Our hotel Crystal Sarovar welcomed us with their fantastic hospitality. We bought the famous sweets of Agra city and souvenir from the market.

After this we headed to Chandigarh. We relaxed at Lemon Tree hotel. We went to Rose Garden and spent a pleasant evening there. The garden has 825 varieties of flowers and 32,500 varieties of trees and medicinal shrubs. The aroma of the environment was not allowing that place but finally we came back to hotel to get ready for our next spot-Shimla.

Next day we departed for Shimla early morning and reached there within four hours. We had booked the iconic Combermere Hotel for our stay. After relaxing for a while in the hotel, we enjoyed our breakfast and then went to Christ Church. We bought handicrafts made by local citizens, from the Mall Road. We departed for Kufri- the adventurous tourist spot of the Shimla. We immensely enjoyed skiing and horse ride. Till then, Ashok had also got comfortable with us and he too enjoyed a lot with us. We ate some hot and spicy Maggie in the freezing environment.

We were soaking the beauty of the snowy mountains into ourselves. This is how, my birthday week was made unforgettable!!

My recent trip to India was a memorable one! I went there with my office colleagues. I am very thankful to my drivers and guides who made this trip more comfortable and knowledgeable. My first stay was in Ashthan Sarovar in Delhi. The hotel had made sure our stay was calm and we felt contended. The hotel gave us the facility of a driver. Our driver Ram was a very simple man who had expertise in handling tourists. He made us to visit many monuments and museums in just one day. We visited Rashtrapati Bhawan and India Gate. We also went to the famous monuments of Delhi from the Mughal period that were Jama Masjid, Red Fort and Qutub Minar. I tried to capture best possible shots of every place. We were very exhausted at the end of the day, so we took some rest after we had our dinner.

Next morning we reached Jaipur. The luxurious Grand Tulip gave us a warm welcome. We got ready for our day and departed to visit Jal Mahal. The palaces of Rajasthan were breath taking! We were amazed by the work of the architects. The markets of this place were so fascinating and colourful that you would be cheered up to buy everything.

We slept on our whole way to Agra. We chilled for some time in Crystal Sarovar Hotel and then went to see the glorious Taj Mahal. We hired a guide named Manoj who helped us in understanding the history of the Mughals and the importance of the monuments. The dedication of Mughal architects were reflecting in their intricate designs. Hats off to those artists! If we hadn’t found Manoj then we would had definitely lost the opportunity to know about Mughal’s architecture!

Ram drove us to Jammu and Kashmir. Here, we met our driver Shami who was a pro at driving in the hills. Shami took us to Dal Lake where we enjoyed a house boat ride. The guide also told us many things about the lifestyle of the people of Kashmir and also about the difficulties faced by them in extreme weather conditions. After this mesmerising and pleasant ride we headed to Gulmarg and stayed at the Hotel Hilltop. The hotel had such beautiful views of mountains. Kashmir is truly a heaven on this earth. Sipping a hot coffee was the one thing we enjoyed a lot in the chilling weather of Kashmir. We experienced the thrilling Gulmarg Gondola rides via cable cars. We were just so delighted after this ride that I am unable to put the joy into words.

After this our next destination was Pahalgam. We stayed at Hotel Pinespring. The facilities at this hotel were up to the mark. We went to Aru and Betaab Valley. The river flowing around the valleys and snow from the skies were giving opportunities to experience nature to its fullest. The beauty of the Kashmir trip is still present in our minds and we are still in a pleasant sort of hangover after this beautiful trip!

My husband and I went on a Golden Triangle Tour with Kashmir, and it was one of the best vacations of my life. Our tour operator was this company in India called Select India tours, and they prepared the itinerary for us after we explicitly told them that we want to see India through the eyes of the locals! We wanted to stay in places that were not alien to Indians and eat their cuisine, and I really must say that they really hit the mark on that one. I’ve been boasting about to this holiday to all my friends and everyone seems really jealous!

Our holiday began in the capital city of Delhi – crowded, filled with life, and exciting! On arriving, our driver Hari Bhagwan picked us up from the airport and took us to the Ashtan Sarovar hotel in Delhi. Thanks to the jet lag, we were ready to pass out, but obviously did not want to miss seeing any sites! We ended up going to the India Gate, a monument dedicated to soldiers, and marveled at how many people were just lolling around and eating ice cream at that late hour. We even drove to the President’s house, which is called Rashtrapati Bhavan, but obviously did not go inside!

The next day, we were in Jaipur and we stayed at a place called The Golden Tulip. We tried our first taste of Rajasthani cuisine – it was so spicy that my husband gulped down chocolate milk afterwards! Jaipur had a ton of sights to offer, including Jantar Mantar and Amber Fort, and we enjoyed learning about their history. The two days in this pink city were followed by a lovely long drive to Agra in a spacious Toyota Innova. We got to see the Taj Mahal and we even stayed at a 4 star property called Crystal Sarovar. Having these plush hotel rooms to welcome us at the end of a long day was really a great addition. To think that my husband wanted to go back-packing now makes me laugh! We wouldn’t have lasted without these amenities!

The final leg of our trip was in Kashmir, with a lovely night in Srinagar spent on a house boat that swayed gently on the Dal lake. The caretaker, Shiva, helped us go through the menu and we ordered traditional Kashmiri meat balls for dinner – also called Gushtaba! My, oh my, were they delicious!

We then went to Gulmarg – heaven on earth! My husband enjoyed a slow golf session while I went skiing. We stayed at the Hilltop Gulmar, and definitely enjoyed our stay there. The food was great too. Finally, our driver Mahar Ali drove us to Pahalgam, which was a gorgeous place. We stayed at the Pinespring and enjoyed relaxing by the river. With this, our trip was over. We went back to Delhi and took our flight home.

My son and I enjoyed a fantastic tour of India a while ago and I simply must tell everyone all about it! One going through Select India’s website, we selected the Golden Triangle and Khajurao Varanasi tour as it seemed to include all the experiences that we wanted out of an India trip! Fantastic sights, old architecture and spirituality.

The trip began in Delhi where we stayed at the Vasant Continental, a comfortable hotel in the capital of the country. Honestly, this day was a bit of a blur. We saw a few sights including Akshardham, the Lotus temple, and India Gate, and thanks to the barely noticeable time difference between India and Australia, we hardly had any jet lag! We hadn’t really unpacked at this hotel as the next morning, we were scheduled to zoom to Jaipur in a lovely Toyota Innova with our driver Rana. We stayed at the Radison Blu in Jaipur and genuinely enjoyed the stay there. The hotel was a lovely one, with a great restaurant that we ate our breakfasts and dinners in.

Jaipur was starkly different from Delhi. The capital of the country was urban in many ways, and so was Jaipur – but the Pink City had a more rustic quality to it. Of course, we still experienced culture shock every time we spotted a Dominoes or a Nike! We went to Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar during our stay in this city. Rana drove us through the tiny lanes like an expert and knew exactly which restaurants are the best for us!

After this, we went to Agra and stayed at the Jaypee palace – a gorgeous resort with the comfiest bed this side of the planet! It goes without saying that we visited the Taj Mahal and were stunned by the beauty of this ancient monument. Standing before something that’s existed for so long is a really humbling experience!

After Agra, off we went to Khajurao, where we saw old caves and statues! Must say, some of them were very risqué – not at all what you expect from a land like India! At Khajurao, we said goodbye to Rana, and met our new driver, Sunny – a young chap who loved to talk! He told us a lot about every place we visited and kept us entertained whenever there was a traffic jam!

After this, we went to Varanasi where we enjoyed getting in touch with our spiritual sides. We saw the old ghats, and frankly, being so close to the idea of human mortality can be quite disturbing (but in a good way – it makes you think). During this leg of the trip, we put down our phones and tech and just tuned into ourselves to understand life better. We enjoyed staying at Ramada JHV, a clean and comfortable hotel that’s located in the heart of Varanasi.

After two days in this city, we were back in Delhi. We caught our flight on time and reached Sydney knowing that we’d had a once in a lifetime experience!

Hi, Firstly thanks to Om and his team who made our India holiday one of the best among our tours we have till yet. I usually travelled to most of countries in Europe and had a wish to cover Indian country as well. Unfortunately India is not like European countries where we can roam easily by the local transportation, we have to go with a tour operator or a travel agent. Hence decided to look for a tour operator and started searching on Google and came in touch with few tour operators and Submitted few queries to those who were ranked on google’s first page including some advertisement as well for planning our holiday.

We asked all the tour operators to revert us with their proposal and match our expectations, Me and my family members actually looking to visit Taj Mahal and Kashmir Tour. Om it was you first who text me on Whatsapp that you are keen to serve us for our Travel needs and started chatting with you, shared all my travel need and was expecting tour price for four of us.

Then after we also received few more emails and whatsapp messages, shared all information with them as well. At the very next day we received quotation from 4 Tour operators including Select India (Your company), the tour itinerary was almost similar to all while price were more or less same. We actually like your communication, quick response on our questions and finally came to our decision that we are going ahead with your tour company and services with 4 Station hotels.

You were always quick even after confirming the tour and replied all our questions regarding what to pack before, what have and what to not as it was our first time. We also received a Travel Advisory document from you, it was so helpful to pack our bags for our trip specially for Kashmir. We exactly got all hotels what you gave us on your tour proposal, not change, the vehicle Toyota Crysta was brand new and comfortable to all of us we really enjoyed traveling in your brand new for Delhi, Jaipur and Agra where we got a chance to see Taj Mahal by sunrise, it was very nice and the weather was nice as well not too hot being traveling in April month and headed for our Kashmir Journey. Me and my memily members specially our kids enjoyed our Kashmir portion, saw huge snow in Gulmarg and decided to see more snow, then our guide Nabil suggested us to take a goldola ride upto first or second phase which was lovely and had enough time to play in the snow and had snow activities. We wanted to stay more but our busy schedule didn’t allowed us to do so and continued our journey for the next town pahalgam which was nice too and had enough quality time .

Overall, we all say thanks from our heart to make our tour such a fabulous we enjoyed a lot and wish you have great future ahead. You can ask anything what you want from our country Singapore. We surely wish to send something for your kids from Singapore

The most outstanding staff/guide are Shailender our driver who took very good care of us. Highly recommended. Most outstanding guide are Jittuji from Biknar. I was not really looking forward to Biknar but he changed my perspective about Biknar by his knowledge. Now Biknar is the best part of my trip. Also most importantly his genuine nature touch a cord with us. Next to mention would be Nazzim (I hope I spelt his name correctly), our guide from Agra. He was also commendable. Very knowledgeable too. He went out of his way to give us an option, if we want to see Taj Mahal at sunset. We declined but his gesture is very much appreciated. The guide from Jaisalmer, Kaliyan Singh was not to our expectation. One of the Jain temple, we went in ourselves. He explained briefly on the idols outside and told us to go in ourselves. When we went in and saw other guide with their group briefing them. While our guide was waiting outside for us. We went to The Havelies and another young boy took us for a guided tour. We tipped this boy as he was knowledgeable but spoke sparingly in english. I believe that it was Kaliyan Singh job. Next was guide from Udaipur, Vikramji. I felt that he did not meet my expectations.

The Bikaner, Guide, was outstanding. He changed our perception of Biknar and now it is our favourite destination. Your choice hotels were good. But had a very unpleasant experience during check in at Golden Tulip hotel, JAIPUR with their Duty Manager, Yuvraj. Have already feedback about him. The Lallgarg Palace was a nice stay but very frequently, the electricity goes off but was quick to return service. Golden Tulip Jaipur – was ok but Felt a bit of weird because the window was facing other rooms and if you look down, it like a courtyard where the reception, sitting areas are. So felt a little claustrophobic.

Last but not least, I like highlight that in your quote, you indicated the price for Udaipur/Delhi flight fare as USD 65 Per Person x 2 Pax : USD 130. If you had indicated the price as an estimated fare that will be confirmed upon booking would have been more appreciated. We were taken by surprise when you started to add on. I hope that my feed back is taken as a measure for improvement.

One more point to highlight is the hotel rates. I have requested for 4star hotels so any change request made that is within that range, I feel that the travel agent should absorb the difference in prices regardless of plus minus. All these unforeseen criteria should be computed in the final quote. So when we were given an option to change hotel in Biknar with an additional cost per pax was puzzling to both my husband and I.

Om, how are you? I have returned to a busy schedule. We had a great time in India thanks to your arrangement. I have introduced to at least 5 different groups of friends who are interested in visiting India in December next year and may use your company. All the best!

The only, issue we had in Shimla, upon arrival there we were rather confused because we had to get off at a messy place, met by tour guide Denise and a few porters to carry away our bags and one to push my wheelchair. No explanation about vehicles not allowed up the road to the hotel and that we need to pay the porters to bring our bags to the hotel while we have to pay to use the public lift.

It would be great if we were given prior warning on the condition/arrangements at Shimla, because it's a long and tiring journey and we are not prepared for such surprises.
