Tour Itinerary

Day : 1   Arrive Delhi

We receive you on arrival at airport with a luxury car to take you to the pre-booked luxury hotel.

You may just enjoy your stay at the hotel. Spend the night resting before the tour actually begins the next day.

Day : 2   Day in Delhi

The day starts early with visits to the bustling streets of the Chandni Chowk, popular for some of the best street food, not just in the capital but also in the country. You take a rickshaw ride to explore the centuries old city that has intricate lanes with havelis around the city. Here, you get to see the other side of the urban city, with thousands of shops cramped into a small place. You then have a glmpse of Jama Masjid, a biggest mosques which can house close to 25,000 people at once.

From the old town of Shahjahanabad, you then visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in the central Delhi. You can either your lunch by eating the meal at the community hall or have some restaurant-style food from any of the restaurants or cafes at Connaught Place. From there, you reach India Gate, centrally located a war memorial. You drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan and Parliament in the evening, when all the structures are completely lit with stunning lights.

You get to visit the Humayun’s Tomb, a mausoleum built for Emperor Humayun by his wife, Bega Begum and son Akbar. You can identify the Mughal style of architecture, one of finest examples of the same in the capital city. You then visit Qutub Minar, built in 12th century.

Day : 3   Delhi - Agra (210 Kms / 4 Hrs Journey by Car)

You leave for Agra by road in the morning itself to reach the city well before lunch.

You first visit the Agra Fort, the residence that the Mughal Empire during the start of their reign. You can see how different rulers had their own version of building their palaces. While most of the rulers focused on the interiors, Akbar focused on strengthening the fortifications. After Agra Fort, you get to visit the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, which was the biggest inspiration for the design of the Taj Mahal. You then explore some of the local markets to shop for some of the local artefacts, leather products and street food. You then leave for the luxury hotel of your choice for the night.

Day : 4   Agra - Jaipur (Via Abhaneri, 245 Kms / 5 Hrs)

Morning, witness the beautiful Taj Mahal in all its glory during the sunrise. It is one moment that will stay with you after the tour. Taj Mahal is the most popular monument of India not just for its beauty but also for the story associated with it. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the mausoleum for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. He brought architects and designers from around the world, artisans from all around the country, raw materials from different parts of the world to make the most beautiful manmade structure in the world. It took 20 years and more than 22,000 artisans to build the structure. Once you complete the visit to the Taj Mahal, you get to visit the Mehtab Bagh if time permits.

Afternoon, you leave for Jaipur, check in the pre-booked luxury hotel at the heart of the city and rest there for the next two nights.

Day : 5   Day in Jaipur

This day is completely devoted to experience the different forts in the outskirts of the city of Jaipur. The day starts with a visit to the Amber Fort where you take an elephant ride to reach the fort built atop a hill. Here, you get to see some great authentic Rajput architecture. Here you get to witness some of the best examples of Indo-Saracenic architecture, mural paintings and different royal palaces. The Maota Lake was the only source of water here. 

After that you get to visit Jaigarh Fort and Nahargarh Fort as well. Both the forts formed the perfect trio of forts along with Amer Fort, to make the city of Amber impenetrable. Naharagrh Fort has the best view of the whole city of Jaipur from its top and also houses a wax museum now. Jaigarh Fort has a great museum, showing the different artefacts used by the royals hundreds of years ago. You then take a photo stop at Jal Mahal before reaching the main city of the Jaipur in the evening to go back to the hotel.

Day : 6   Jaipur - Kishangarh (105 Kms / 2 Hrs Journey)

105kms from Jaipur lies the city of Kishangarh in Rajasthan. You reach the city after a 2-hour drive in the morning. The city has a lot of historical significance because of the immense activity it has seen in the last few centuries. It was first famous for the Kishangarh style of painting, which is now synonymous with Rajasthani style of painting. During the British rule, the city was turned into a power loom but now is called the Marble City of India, as it produces some of the finest quality of marbles in the country.

Upon arrival in the city, you check in the boutique hotel Phool Mahal Palace, a former palace of the royal family here. You then leave for local sightseeing, starting with a visit to the Kishangarh Fort, towering above the Gundolav Lake. The fort has huge fortifications, foundries, armoury, jails and granaries for you to explore and have an understanding how people lived hundreds of years ago.

 

Day : 7   Kishangarh - Udaipur (295 Kms / 6 Hrs Journey)

In the morning you visit the Nepheline Syenite, a National Geological Monument or a site that has rocks that are millions of years old. They are not just a few million years old but anywhere between 1590 to 1910 million of years old. This is a different experience, as you get to see the proof of how old our planet really is. Koda Ganesh Ji Temple is another tourist attraction that you get to visit before leaving for Udaipur.

After lunch, you take a 6-hour drive long drive, covering a distance around 300kms, to reach Udaipur. Once you reach the city of lakes, you check in the luxury hotel of your choice to relax and have dinner there. You stay at the hotel overnight.

Day : 8   Day in Udaipur

After freshen up, enjoy breakfast the hotels serve on it's in-house restaurant before heading for Udaipur Tour. 

Have whole day and explore City Palace, Jagmandir Island, Jagdish Temple, Sahelion Ki Bari followed by having quality time while enjoying boat ride on Lake Pichola. 

Day : 9   Udaipur - Mihirgarh (235 Kms / 5 Hrs Journey)

After an early breakfast, we take you to Mihirgarh by road. The 235kms road trip will roughly take around 5 hours. Once you reach the hotel of Mihirgarh, you can just enjoy the stay at the hotel.

Enjoy the sunset, relaxing by the pool. Indulge in recreational activities or enjoy the local dances or songs, performed just for you. Enjoy the fine dining experience of the restaurant and bar with some incredible delicacies from the Rajasthani cuisine. Stay at the visually stunning hotel rooms with sand dunes as the view in front.

Day : 10   Mihirgarh - Jodhpur (60 Kms / 1 ½ Hrs Journey)

You leave Mihirgarh in the morning to reach Jodhpur after a  1 ½ Hrs drive.

You get to witness the incredible Mehrangarh Fort here. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is probably the biggest fort in India. You can spend a whole day in there but due to time constraints. Visit major palaces, courtyards and temples in the massive complex. The massive fort is the ideal place to witness the palanquins the royals used, canons, weapons of all kinds, clothes they wore, paintings and other such things that helps you understand the living style of royals.

Day : 11   Jodhpur - Jaipur (330 Kms / 6 Hrs Journey)

In the morning, you visit a few more places in Jodhpur, like Clock Tower, Sardar Market and Mandore Gardens. Mandore gardens is an ancient garden with tremendous quality of flora in it with some thousand-year old structures as well, once used by the royals to sit and relax in the nature. Visit Sardar market for some local shopping.  The Clock Tower too is in the same market.

Day : 12   Day in Jaipur

The second day of Jaipur takes you to places like City Palace, Palace of Winds and the most interesting the observatory

City Palace of Jaipur is undoubtedly the best example of Rajput and Indo-Saracenic architecture in Jaipur. The lavish courtyards, royal suits and durbar halls will blow you away. Hawa Mahal or ‘Palace of Winds’ has 953 windows, which create channels of wind to keep the whole palace cool even in the heat of Jaipur. The windows were initially built to facilitate the women belongs to royal family to have look outside. Jantar Mantar is a complex that has 19 different astronomical structures, built during the reign of Maharaja Jai Singh II, a ruler cum astrologer. He used the information of movement of celestial bodies to understand time and use it for his tactics in warfare.

Evening, you can enjoy the local street markets and then have some great Rajasthani delicacies for dinner.

Day : 13   Jaipur (Departure)
