Tour Itinerary

Day : 1   Arrive Delhi

Arrive and have the quality time in and around your hotel you are staying in.

Day : 2   Delhi - Jaipur

In the morning hours of Delhi, visit the old Delhi area when the market is still not alive to its usual best. A rickshaw ride through the narrow bylanes of Chandni Chowk takes you to the 400-year old history of how Mughals lived in the area. Jama Masjid, one of the biggest mosques in India, is another place you get to visit in this area.

Enjoy the local delicacies before leaving for Jaipur by road that usually takes close to 5 hours. Upon reaching the city of Jaipur, you may rest at night in your hotel room.

Day : 3   In Jaipur

Today, you start your day with a few minutes stop at Hawa Mahal to take a few pictures before going to visit almost all the major tourist places and attractions of Pink City Jaipur. You first visit the Amber Fort, set atop a hill with Jaigarh and Nahargarh Fort in the background. 

City Palace of Jaipur is one of those palaces that you do not want to miss, as it has all that gives you an idea about how the royals of Rajasthan lived hundreds of years ago. In fact, the royal family still lives in a part of the palace that is not open to public. Jantar mantar is the other attraction to visit in the nearby vicinity.

Evening, you can explore the local markets in the Pink City and indulge in some shopping as well.

Day : 4   Jaipur - Agra

You leave for Agra early in the morning. En-route  visit Abhaneri stepwell, a great place to clikc some wonderful pictures. Being an offbeat place, there will be not many tourists in this, making it an ideal place to spend some quality time.

Upon arrival in Agra, you get to visit The Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, the two major attractions in the city. Both the structures uses Mughal architecture and took decades to complete. If time permits, you may also visit Itmad-ud-Daulah or Baby Taj as is it popularly called.

Day : 5   Agra - Delhi / Kochi (by flight)

In the morning hours, you leave for Delhi to take the flight to Kochi.

Once you reach Kochi after the two and half hour flight, you can explore the great nightlife of Kochi.

Day : 6   Kochi - Alleppey (backwater Cruise)

This morning, you explore the island of Fort Kochi and see some stunning European style architecture. You get to visit the Kochi beach where you can witness the Chinese fishing nets, making it a stunning location for pictures.

From Kochi, you will leave for Alleppey where you can enjoy the famous backwaters of Kerala. You can enjoy the evening in a houseboat cruise and even spend the night in it, in the middle of the backwaters. You get to feast on the freshly prepared seafood as well.

Day : 7   Alleppey - Thekkady

After having your breakfast, you leave for Thekkady. Here, you will explore the immense variety of flora and fauna available in the rainforest.

Periyar National park is the highlight of the place where you can enjoy jungle safari to witness elephants and tigers among other many animals. Otherwise, you can spend some quality time trekking through the woods to reach hilltops to get some of the most amazing views. Thekkady is one of those places that takes you closer to nature, away from the bustling life of city. 

Day : 8   Thekkady - Munnar

This morning, you reach one of the most beautiful hill station in South India i.e. Munnar.

You check in your pre-booked resort or hotel and then spend the evening sipping tea, made from the fresh tea-leaves of the plantations around you. Exploring the tea estates is another experience that you can have on this day.

Day : 9   In Munnar

You can explore the hill station on full swing during this day. Go for trekking or enjoy an elephant ride through the accessible forests and plantations. 

Eravikulam National Park is another place to spend some quality time amidst the nature. It is a lush green setting where you can see the goats grazing and animals spending time in their own habitat in peace. Tea Museum and Mattupetty Dam are the other two places to visit.

Day : 10   Munnar - Kochi Airport
